Venue of the month - February!

Last week I was in Florence looking at venues, some for the first time and others old friends! But this venue was so breathtakingly beautiful, knocking spots off of all the other 5 star villas in Florence it ticked all the boxes, making it February's venue of the month!

Nestled in the elegant slope of Fiesole,  offering the most spectacular views over the city of Florence, Il Salviatino Florence Hotel  is full of history and charm. The Villa dates back to 14th century and has been completely restored and transformed into a 5 stars hotel. Encompassing all the characteristics of luxury and comfort you would expect plus  a museum’s stash of 19th-century frescoes, antique bath tubs and valuable artworks. Beautiful boudoirs are graced with oak floors, silver candelabra and fresh orchids.
The hotel offers 45 rooms, including 22 suites, each of them with an individual design and attention to detail. There are two restaurants, a bar and a spa to explore plus all of the guests are assigned a dedicated ‘ambassador’ to look after them during their stay.
Il Salviatino offers the WOW factor as a backdrop for an elegance wedding reception. They can accommodate up to 200 guests but I personally think it is more comfortable with 150 guests. The enormous gardens, planted with lavender and rose, have breathtaking views of Florence and its Duomo. The terrace is just... delightful.

The wonderful thing about Il Salviatino is it is open in the winter, with its lush library and stunning communal areas, lending itself perfectly for a chic winter wedding in Florence.  In the summer with the terrace and light breeze, not forgetting the  views over Florence, it really is the perfect location for a summer wedding in Florence! Basically it ticks all the boxes!
